I've written a play and I genuinely cannot get anyone to read it. Ah well. It's quite good too, but you always need notes. I'll just persevere with no notes then. Just call me No Notes Jones.
A month on an still no notes on the play. Even the theatre company I submitted it to send me a standard rejection e-mail. I still believe that it is a good play and I will continue in that belief until someone tells me otherwise. But they will need to read it first...there's the rub, there's the rub...
