The Singularity

 I wanted to find out the filming locations for The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, that's how I roll, so I Google-searched the programme hoping IMDB might deliver the goods. And eventually it did, but before I got there, the first thing I saw was Google's AI over-view, breaking down the beats of the first series of Perrin, as though it involved a dog called Spot and a big, red ball. 

Game over, man. 

The Story

Reggie works a boring job at Sunshine Desserts.
He hates his daily train ride.
He goes a bit mad and fakes his own death by leaving his clothes on a beach.
He starts a new life under a new name.
He comes back to his wife, CJ, and his old life later.
