 I'm a bit low. Things are a bit much. There's no let up in the endless degradation of everything. Gangs of black clad idiots burning people out of their houses. Burning out cars, buses, bins. Closing all the shops, running amok, used as examples of "legitimate concerns" by opportunist, bad faith grifters. You know the ones. And always its a distraction. Farage has doubled down on exploiting tragedy and scapegoating brown people because he doesn't want to talk about all the money he's gifted by foreign billionaires. Trump kills thousands and increases the cost of everything in the world, because he doesn't want to talk about the Epstein files. These two cunts, I mean...Farage is seceding from public scrutiny, despite the fact that GB News is already his unapologetic national mouthpiece, and despite the fact he's been on Question Time more than anyone else in the programme's history, he's now writing essays on a substack so his views aren't warped by traditional media. Good luck finding Reform voters who can read anything other than a Wetherspoons menu, Nigel, and that comes with laminated pictures. His little pal Tommy Robinson who had been in - and I can't believe this is real - Russia with Elon Musk's dad and the Tate brothers, was arrested at Heathrow and, within SECONDS, set up a Go Fund Me for his legal bills. There is no Illuminati, there is no shadowy cabal of evil geniuses. The world is not that kind, not that interesting. What we have is a load of toxic monsters, racists, sexists and reported sex traffickers, meeting in Putin's Russia, completely out in the open. Why should they care? They break the law, over and over again, and then they just wander round the globe, free as the wind. If they do get arrested a load of poor people just bail them out. Putin's intelligence people are putting up racist posters in England. They swamping communities with racist trolling from Russia. They paid a fucking Ukrainian bloke to set fire to a house where some of Kier Starmer's family lived. Why? Why is Elon Musk, the worlds richest man, advising the poor people of Belfast to set fire to their own communities? And why are they doing it? Everything feels oppressively, chokingly awful and its just going to get worse. The world is cartoonishly shit now. Reform candidates dress up as Crusaders. They constantly lie. They are nakedly inept, incapable of argument, all of them with checkered backgrounds and screeds of racist and misogynist social media posts. It doesn't matter. People "want something new". They want something "different". They like Nigel Farage. He's a man of the people. He's working class. He's an outsider, an underdog. They'll get something different, alright. 

In America, Donald Trump is a man of the people. He's something new. He is a man of Christ. He celebrated the 250th birthday of the United States with cage fighting on the White House lawn. After the fighting one of the fighters claimed that the wife of a former president "was a man". Will anything be done? Nothing will be done. He's knocked down half the White House. He boasts about his reflecting pool and suddenly it's a swamp of green algae. He couldn't even get Milli fucking Vanilli to play at his party. The president of the United States would have tarnished the image of Milli Vanilli. The cycle of disgusting horror will sweep us all up, like an El Nino of shit. It never gets better. Everything fouler, more extreme, more opposed to anything decent, good, kind or clever. Stupider and stupider and stupider and stupider, forever and ever, and I don't see a way out of this. Everything is on fire. I'm exhausted. Hot and sad and old and powerless and standing in the fucking rain.
