The Old Curiosity Show is a collection of cautionary concoctions, a portmanteau of perverse peccadilloes, a coterie of conceits.
Or its three knocked off Victorian melodramas loosely strung together and riddled with newly minted smut, depending on who you talk to.
Let us take you back to the glamorous world of moth-eaten red velvet, tin-plates spattered with candle wax, and stressed, over-burdened strolling players knackered from low paying day jobs. It is perhaps not so very hard to imagine.
Come and experience the outrageous bouffon clowning styles of Amadan married to my single entendres and - gasp - RHYMING VERSE, and you are guaranteed an evening of riotous ribaldry and romance.
Without the romance. There's no romance.
